The United States Department of Agriculture has partnered with us on our research and provided a pilot manufacturing space because we may be able to replace ALL plastic packaging with plant-based materials. The National Science Foundation funded us as a new manufacturing technology. The US Environmental Protection Agency funded our potential to reduce billions of pounds of CO2 emissions through greener manufacturing!
Mission
The Mission of Corrugreen's material is to eliminate billions of pounds of waste, eliminate megatons of CO2 emissions from manufacturing, and stop harmful chemicals from leaching into people's food. We will accomplish this because our technology provides high performance, low cost materials that can replace almost all materials in foodservice markets across the world!
Company Progress
Corrugreen began manufacturing in the founder's garage, moved to a real warehouse once funding arrived, and partnered with the USDA on a full pilot manufacturing facility! Our next step is to have full scale manufacturing running at a partner's 250,000 square foot plant by the end of 2017!
